A huge thanks to our staff who made it possible for our Sunset 2026 Poetry Out Loud Competition: Mr. Nova, Miss de (Patricia Kelner), Jess P, Jess T, & Cori! We had about 35 students memorize poems, and 11 students participated in the schoolwide competition. Our 2026 runner-up is Kenny Halls, and our Sunset champion is Rolando Pastrana! Both will compete in the county competition in February. All of our participants were pushed beyond their comfort zones, & achieved something they may not have thought possible. We are very proud of them all!
