Some recent scenes at Sunset include Melinda taking our students to College of the Redwoods to help facilitate & lead activities for the district’s 4th graders (skills developed while we host 3rd & 5th grade field trips); Sunset’s annual trip to O’ Me-nok Day at the O’ Me-nok Learning Center in Klamath (Sunset’s one of the only, if not the only other schools invited each year); our Interpretive Trail team did their presentations for and to the Sunset students & staff who never get to see it because they’re doing their own activities elsewhere; awesome electives like leather crafting with Ryan, candle & essential oil making with Melinda; & of course farm construction & development with Robyn & Jess P for our growing livestock of pigs, ducks, chickens, & turkeys.
