From flowers to full‑court fun, Sunset thrived this week! Click to find out more.

From our bustling classrooms to the sun‑splashed courts, Sunset has been alive with creativity and curiosity this week. Kelly’s GATE scholars ventured to Beachfront Park for hands‑on learning that mixed fresh air with fresh ideas, while Robyn transformed her classroom into a pop‑up floral studio where students arranged cheerful spring centerpieces. In Nicole’s math lab, equations came to life in bright, stretchy slime—proving that formulas really can be fun. Tie‑dye swirls and imaginative arts‑and‑crafts projects filled the commons thanks to Jess P. and a host of helpers, and Doug’s engineering crew channeled their inner architects to construct colorful Graham‑cracker “peep” houses. Over in culinary, Jess T. guided budding chefs through a round of sweet‑treat making that left the hallway smelling like a bakery. To top it all off, students capped their days with full‑court basketball and a spontaneous game of badminton under clear blue skies—perfect snapshots of Sunset’s spirit in motion.
