Sunset High Sources of Strength Spirit Week – Midweek Highlights

We are halfway through Sources of Strength Spirit Week at Sunset High, and students have been actively participating in a variety of school-wide activities.

"Anything but a Backpack Day" encouraged students to get creative by bringing their school items in non-traditional containers such as toy vehicles and household items.

For "Fancy Tea Party Day," students prepared snacks and decorated the space with table settings, teacups, and streamers to create a themed environment.

Students also took part in a "Make a Scarecrow" Challenge, working in teams to stuff and dress scarecrows using hay, clothing, and balloons.

These events are part of the Sources of Strength program, which focuses on building positive connections and promoting healthy coping strategies within the school community.
