Sunset High students toured Crescent City Airport, exploring TSA, Cal-Ore Life Flight, and more—click to learn more!
A classroom assignment turned into an unforgettable hands-on learning experience for Sunset High School students! After completing a “Write a Letter to a Business” English project with Mr. Nova and Mrs. De, students were invited to tour the Crescent City Airport. The visit gave them an inside look at airport operations—from the TSA screening process to Cal-Ore Life Flight and the brand-new terminal.
Students learned about the many different careers and teamwork that keep air travel running smoothly every day. A huge thank-you goes to the Crescent City Airport and Cal-Ore Life Flight staff for welcoming our students and sharing their time and knowledge. Special thanks also to Mrs. De for coordinating the visit and chaperoning the trip—it was truly a day to remember!
