On Tuesday, April 29th, the Del Norte County Office of Education partnered with the Del Norte Unified School District to bring the 3rd Annual CTE College and Career Fair to Del Norte High School. The event welcomed over 40 exhibitors who represented various career and educational opportunities, including colleges, local and regional businesses, military recruiters, and public service agencies.  The event provided over 800 students with valuable exposure to both immediate job opportunities and long-term career paths. Industry sectors ranged from healthcare and the trades to government and public service. Regional colleges and universities also attended. Notable highlights included a Pacific Power bucket truck and a Del Norte Ambulance on site. Many students made multiple visits, and exhibitors praised the students’ enthusiasm and engagement.
